Our mission statement:

As Methodist Christians we are committed to worshiping God passionately and relevantly, to learning together and caring for each other, to serving others.

This week is "Week of Prayer for Christian Unity" 18th to 25th January

There are many different Christian churches and denominations, but all have the same basic calling – to worship God, to share the good news about Jesus Christ and to work together for the good of all people.

Churches Together ( Cytun in Wales) is committed to deepening fellowship between different churches and, without losing what makes each one interestingly different, to working together towards a greater visible unity. Our local Group has not been able to meet during the pandemic, but a meeting has been convened on Wednesday January 19th at 4pm in the Memorial Hall so that we might pray together. Representatives from all local faith groups have been invited.

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is held annually across the world. This year the resources for daily prayer and a special Service have been prepared by Churches of the Middle East. These are available for download only this year from the website. This is what they say by way of introduction, and is worthy of all our thoughts and prayers.
